Major Equipment Rental company
completes 3 year test of abrasion protection wrap |

According to Stan Morell, Quarry Supervisor at
Southdowns Knoxville Cement Plant, after only six months of using Jack
Wrap It as their abrasion protection, they have seen significant savings.
One piece of equipment, the 992 CAT loader, requires a transmission hose
replacement every three months at a cost of $1000. To date, they have
bypassed two replacements and their problem areas show no wear. "This is
typical of what we are seeing on all of our equipment using Jack Wrap It."
Morrell said, "Downtime is critical to our operation and anything that
will reduce that will play a major role in our preventative maintenance
program." |

After three years of testing Jack Wrap It at two of
their rental branches in the South Central Region, a major equipment
rental company's officials sanctioned the use for all branches. The test
started with the wrapping of two hoses of a small breaker attached to a
Bobcat. These hoses, under normal rental use, are replaced three times per
year at an average cost of $900 per year. This cost includes hose, service
calls and fittings. After three years with the use of Jack Wrap It, no
hoses have been replaced. This has saved the company at least $2700 on
this one piece of equipment.
